New Business Venture!

This week I have been on a pallet-pinching mission. When I say ‘pinching’ though, I was considerate enough to ask first. There have been lots of deliveries to the offices at Athena Court (where Head Office is based) and the delivery drivers have left behind lots of wooden pallets.

I was quick to approach all the other offices asking if they wouldn’t mind donating them to the minibeasts. (Yes, they did look at me a bit strangely but when I explained the minibeast hotel initiative they were very keen to help out.) Now we have a collection of pallets, piled up by the desk available for the Banana Moon nurseries around the UK.

The orders came in and we’ve made connections with other suppliers. Business is booming!!

If I’m honest I’m a little disappointed we don’t have the space to set up a hotel at Head Office, although some little 6 legged creatures have happily set up camp inside.

I can’t wait to see the hotels complete in the nursery gardens, it’s not just the bugs and creepy crawlies that will benefit from this new shelter and adventure; there are also lots of new learning opportunities to follow for the children and staff of Banana Moon.

Catch up soon, love Sarah!
