Local MP Simon Wright will be visiting a recently opened nursery in Bowthorpe tomorrow to view the new facilities and learn more about childcare provision in Norwich.
Mr Wright will also take the opportunity to discuss the barriers faced by many people attempting to start up new businesses in Norwich.
Commenting Mr Wright, said: “In these difficult times I’m delighted to be visiting a new start-up business, especially as it is providing such a vital service for local residents. All the evidence shows that early years education has a huge impact on children’s educational outcomes.”
“The Government has already announced £1bn in funding to help families with the cost of childcare, but we need to make sure local provision is in place so every child has access to the benefits of early years education. Getting new places and nurseries, such as Banana Moon in Bowthorpe, is critical.”
