Emma qualified as a dance teacher alongside studying for her A-levels. After leaving school at 18 she went on to run her own successful dance business teaching in various nurseries, schools, independent schools and private dance schools around her area.
She has experience in teaching all ages from 12 months to adults and enjoys encouraging and interacting with them all. One of the independent schools she taught at noticed her passion and rapport with the children and offered her a full time position in their nursery and pre-prep department as a teaching assistant alongside this she continued with teaching dance and zumba at other settings in the evenings and at the weekend. Whilst in this position she saw potential in their very small dance academy and approached the head teacher with a business plan to take sole responsibility of re-launching and rebranding the academy. Within one year it had gone from making a loss to being a successful business with all pupils that were entered into examinations achieving top marks.
Emma took particular interest in teaching the nursery classes and became a franchisee herself buying into a dance syllabus made specifically for that age range that works alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage.
