“The staff are always friendly and approachable and clearly enjoy their job. My son is in babymoons, and I've noticed a clear improvement with his self-sufficient skills (feeding himself, eg) and he seems more keen to explore new surroundings. It's good that no parents can enter the building (Covid guidelines), and I think this should stay this wast for safety. The app is a really good idea to keep up with news and child's day. I have used Banana Moon for my second child as my elder child enjoyed it so much.”

“Our 3-year-old started at Banana Moon in November 2021. On our initial visit, my husband and I were instantly impressed. The manager just beamed pride and enthusiasm for the nursery. Her love and passion were something I had never experienced with any other nursery before - it was wonderful and comforting to see. The nursery itself is very clean, spacious, well-kept and has lots of individual areas which focus on a particular topic, crafts, building, reading etc. There are lots of beautiful handmade wooden items, which have been made by the owner; this also shows how much pride there is within Banana Moon Westhill.
Our son is really happy there and always full of lovely stories. He comes home with praise stickers for tidying up and helping, which he is very proud of; his older brother asks him why he doesn’t do that at home (tidy)!
There is also a folder in the nursery with your little ones ‘learning journey’; this has details of the nursery's personal plan for your little one”

“My child has thrived in this Nursery. The staff are caring and fully engaged with each child and really take on board their interests and personality. My child is determined, and they encourage and nurture this by setting up daily tasks to keep him occupied and learning and, therefore, happy.
It feels like dropping him off with family and love seeing him stomp his way straight to his room. The manager is also so approachable and takes the time to get to know each child. I have asked her many questions over the year and have never been made to feel silly.
The daily app is also so good as it gets updated throughout the day, so I can check in whenever I want. This is really good if concerned they are not 100% that day. Handover is also more engaging as can discuss photos, and you are pre-prepared if issues with eating or sleeping. The staff are more than willing to discuss any issues or concerns I have had.”
