At Banana Moon Franchise, we’ve long believed our nursery franchise offering and amazing team are first-class. We’re therefore thrilled to announce that – at the start of our 15th year of franchising – we’ve been honoured with the Natalia Shvarts QFP Community Builder of the Year Award at the Elite Franchise Awards, as well as securing a place in the HSBC Elite Franchise Top 100!
The Community Builder of the Year Award recognises our commitment to making a positive impact within our community. Our ‘Little hearts, bright futures’ initiative was key to securing this incredible recognition, and we couldn’t have achieved this without the collective efforts of each one of our nurseries.
This nationwide campaign saw us install a life-saving CardiAid defibrillator in each one of our 50+ nurseries to support not only the children at each location but their local areas too. It means members of the communities local to the nurseries are within minutes of the AED, boosting the survival chances of people who have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. According to the British Heart Foundation, there are over 30,000 such cardiac arrests each year in the UK, and early CPR and defibrillation is vital to give someone the best chance of survival.
Mark Bates, our Founder and Managing Director, commented:
“Banana Moon has always been dedicated to the well-being of the communities we serve. Our ‘Little hearts, bright futures’ initiative was driven by a deep sense of responsibility, and we’re incredibly proud to see our hard work recognised by the Elite Franchise Awards.
“This lifesaving equipment will help us to ensure our children have the best chance of a bright future, no matter what life throws at us. And it’s also good news for our franchisees, as it cements our commitment to best practice.”
The childcare industry can be extremely competitive, but we’ve repeatedly proven our credentials over the past 15 years of franchising. Parents are reassured by our nurseries being part of a successful national franchise, meaning they have the support of a hugely experienced national team and access to initiatives such as ‘Little hearts, bright futures’.
Mark concluded:
“This award celebrates the incredible work our team do every day, and we’re proud to continue making a difference together. I want to take this opportunity to thank our team for their continued dedication and hard work. They are the heart and soul of Banana Moon and this award belongs to all of us.”
Thank you again to everyone who voted for us – we appreciate all of your support and we’ll continue to proudly support our local Banana Moon communities. Here’s to little hearts and bright futures!
